Dim Sum Essentials

Last week’s brunch coverage explicitly excluded dim sum. While you can argue that Chubby Noodle is dim sum (I wouldn’t) or that dim sum is brunch (partially true), this meal at any one of these restaurants stands apart as one of life’s true joys. While covid unfortunately killed the roving trays of dumplings, buns, and rolls, the food coming out of the kitchen is as good as ever. Dig in:

Yank Sing is no less delicious than City View, but is more upscale. If City View is where I go with friends after a night out, Yank Sing is where I take my parents when they’re visiting. They have 2 locations - I haven’t had a chance to try the Rincon Hill spot yet.
